FRANK JONES- GUITAR/VOCALS
Frank Jones, born and raised in Tallahassee, began playing guitar when he was 14 years of age- starting out with classic rock and "oldies". When he was 16 years old he took his first trip to the Bradfordville Blues Club and never turned back. His key influences range from soul singers such as Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, John Cleary and Otis Redding to blues guitar legends like Albert Collins, Freddy King, Stevie Ray, Albert King and B.B. King. He has played with many groups as the lead/rhythm guitar player in King Cotton, Strozier, and The Clyde Ramsey Band opening up for national acts including STIX and Tab Benoit. This is the first group Frank has been able to put his southern soul voice and fronting abilities to use- only made easier by the extremely competent and talented musicians he has backing him up. |
